Cajun Baked Tilapia

I recently discovered basa fish and used it instead of tilapia for this recipe.

1/2 lbs tilapia fillets
1/3 cup light mayonnaise
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon cayenne powder (or chili powder)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
8 Ritz crackers, crushed (I used panko)

  1. Combine mayonnaise and seasonings in a bowl.
  2. Spread mayonnaise mixture on fillets, sprinkle with Ritz cracker crumbs.
  3. Place fillets in baking dish. Bake at 400F for 15-20 minutes or until fillets flake when tested with a fork.
Makes 8 servings
